HOKUSHO’s standard products are subject to strict quality control measures under a supervision framework built around our product quality management system. In addition, we successively reform and refine performance such as lowering costs and reducing lead times by swiftly adopting the newest technology.
We place a strong emphasis on compatibility with the user’s site, and over the years we have carried out many projects with unique specifications. The knowhow we have gained from our extensive experience allows us to truly optimize environments through customizable planning.
The most fundamental factor in efficient goods distribution is ensuring the fastest, most accurate transport/transfer of products and parts. On top of that is the matter of whether or not this can be accomplished in a limited space. For increasingly multi-level shipping centers and factories as well as distribution warehouses, success and failure hinge upon the capabilities of the distribution system. Each of HOKUSHO’s trio of vertical transfer systems is absolutely indispensable in efficiently linking upper and lower floors.
This intelligent sorting system comprises a high-performance small item piece sorter (Auto-Sorter mini), a feeding conveyor and an Information Control System, enabling quantity inspections even as items are rapidly and automatically sorted and transferred.
The Auto-Sorter uses a method wherein multiple shoes slide in order to push cargo in the required direction, enabling it to accommodate a wide range of conveyor item sizes and shapes while sorting cargo gently.
The ‘Kenpin’ Integrated Tool (“kenpin” means “inspection” in Japanese), or KIT, combines several inspection tasks (shipping inspection, receiving inspection, returns inspection, inventory inspection) into a single tool, increasing inspection accuracy and labor efficiency while bringing down operating costs. Based on the concept “The ultimate tool for increasing labor efficiency” KIT is designed for operation by a single person, and its tool-like feel makes it easy to pick up and use, even for beginners.
These vertical transfer systems work like elevators, transferring objects up and then back down again. As the conveyor is vertical, the amount of space needed is kept to an absolute minimum, and the ability to automatically transfer an object to any floor at the touch of a button – all while the object remains level – drastically increases operational efficiency. By equipping the machine with additional conveyors, you can build multi-story automatic transfer lines between clean rooms.
Our horizontal conveyors meet the fundamental need for continuous lateral item transport. Naturally, there are various conveyors for different sizes and shapes of cargo, but at HOKUSHO we use a combination of various units based on our driven roller conveyor to create the ideal floor line for your location.
